Resolution No. 09-2019
Resolution authorizing the purchase of two (2) Case 580SN 4-wheel
drive backhoes and a concrete breaker through the BuyBoard
Purchasing Cooperative from Associated Supply Company, Inc. in the
amount of $218,117.36
WHEREAS, Texas Local Government Code §252.022 exempts items purchased
requirements; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls has passed a resolution
approving the participation in such cooperative agreements; and,
WHEREAS, Texas Local Government Local Government Code §252.022 exempts
items purchased through interlocal cooperative purcha
competitive bidding requirements:
This chapter does not apply to expenditure for. . . (12) personal property
sold. . under an interlocal contract for cooperative purchasing
administered by a regional planning commission established under
Chapter 391.
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that Associated Supply Company, Inc. is
offering two (2) Case 580SN 4-wheel drive backhoes and accessories through the
rchase
equipment in accordance with the Cooperative Purchasing Programs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
City staff is authorized to execute all documents necessary to purchase two (2)
Case 580SN backhoes and accessories through BuyBoard Purchasing Cooperative in
the amount of $218,117.36.
