Resolution authorizing the submittal of a grant application to the
Texas Department of Public Safety, Division of Emergency
Management for the FY 2019 Emergency Management Performance
Grant
WHEREAS, The City Council finds it in the best interest of the citizens of Wichita
Falls that the Emergency Management Performance Grant be applied for in the FY 2019
from the Texas Department of Public Safety, Division of Emergency Management
WHEREAS, The City Council agrees to provide applicable matching funds for the
said project as required by the Texas Department of Public Safety, Division of Emergency
Management; and,
WHEREAS, The City Council agrees that in the event of loss or misuse of the
Emergency Management Performance Grant funds, the City Council assures that the
funds will be returned to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Division of Emergency
Management in full; and,
WHEREAS, The City Council authorizes the City Manager to apply for the
Emergency Management Performance grant on behalf of the applicant agency.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Council approves submission of the grant application for the FY 2019
Emergency Management Performance Grant to the Texas Department of Public Safety,
Division of Emergency Management.
