Resolution No. 134-2018
Resolution authorizing the City Manager to enter into an agreement
with Secord & Lebow Architects, LLP for Design and Construction
Services related to the Wichita Falls Public Transportation Repair
and Maintenance Facility in an amount of $685,000
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has applied for and successfully received a
Federal Transit Administration Section 5339 Buses and Bus Infrastructure Investment
grant in an amount of $9,864,858; and,
WHEREAS, design and construction services were included and funded through
the grant application; and,
WHEREAS, SLA Architects had been selected through a formal qualifications
process to assist with the project and grant development.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is authorized to execute an agreement, in a form approved by
the City Attorney, with Secord & Lebow Architects, LLP for design services and
construction management services for the construction of the Bus Maintenance Repair
Facility project in an amount of $685,000.
