Ordinance No.65-2018
Ordinance deleting Division 3 of Article III of Chapter 2 of the Code of
Ordinances, entitled Veterans Advisory Council, in its Entirety;
Reserving Division 3; Reserving Sections 2-172 through 2-200
WHEREAS, the City created the Veterans Advisory Council to provide advice and
consultation on issues related to veterans to the City Council; and,
WHEREAS, fewer citizens volunteer to serve on the various boards and
commissions of the City of Wichita Falls, thus making them harder to fill each year; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the mission of the Veterans
Advisory Council
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Division 3 of Article III of Chapter 2 of the Code of Ordinances, entitled Veterans
Advisory Council, is hereby deleted in its entirety.
Division 3 is hereby reserved.
Sections 2-172 through 2-200 are hereby reserved.
