ORDINANCENO.58-2018
Ordinance rezoning approximately +/-13.68acres of land located at
5001 Bartley Drive (Lot 1, Block 1,Y.M.C.A. Addition, and Stone Lake
Drive right-of-wayfrom Limited Commercial(LC) to General Commercial
(GC)to allow for the expansion of indoor recreational uses, specifically
of a non-profit athletic and fitness center with childcare facilities.
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission considered the proposed
zoning change at its November 14, 2018 meeting, and voted to recommend approval of
this request; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed this request and has determined the
herein described Zoning amendment is in the public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINEDBY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
1.Lot1, Block 1, Y.M.C.A Addition (5001 Bartley Drive 12.6 acres) and Stone
Lake Drive right-of-way (1.08 acres),as depicted on the attached map incorporated in
this ordinance as ,is hereby rezoned from Limited Commercial (LC) to
General Commercial (GC).
