Resolution No.125-2018
Resolution authorizing the purchase of a Faro 3D Laser Scanner and
related Software through Faro Technologies, Inc., in the amount of
$72,942.70
WHEREAS, Texas Local Government Code §252.022 exempts items purchased
requirements; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls has passed a resolution
approving the participation in such cooperative agreements; and,
WHEREAS, on November 6, 2018, the City Council passed an ordinance
appropriating $43,514.96 in grant funding to the special revenue fund; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that FARO Technologies, Inc. is offering the
Faro Scanning System through the GSA Purchasing Program, and it is in
interest to purchase equipment in accordance with the Cooperative Purchasing
Programs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
City Staff is authorized to execute all documents necessary to purchase one Faro
3D Laser Scanning System through the GSA Purchasing Program in the amount of
$72,942.70.
