Ordinance No. 55-2018
Ordinance appropriating $43,514.96 to the Special Revenue Fund
from the Office of the Governor, Homeland Security Grants Division,
2018 State Homeland Security Program (SHSP) for Law Enforcement
Terrorism Prevention Activities (LETPA), Grant Number 3549901 and
authorizing the City Manager to accept said funds
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has been notified that it has been awarded
$43,514.96 from the Office of the Governor, Homeland Security Grants Division, State
Homeland Security Program (SHSP) for Law Enforcement Terrorism Prevention
Activities (LETPA), Grant Number: 3549901; and,
WHEREAS, these funds are to be used to purchase a Faro 3D Laser Scanner
and related Software to be used by the Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
There is appropriated $43,514.96 in the Special Revenue Fund for the purpose
of a Faro 3D Laser Scanner and related Software from the Office of the Governor,
State Homeland Security Program (SHSP) for Law Enforcement Terrorism Prevention
Activities (LETPA), Grant Number: 3549901, and the City Manager is authorized to
execute all documents necessary to accept said funds on behalf of the City of Wichita
Falls.
