Ordinance No. 54-2018
Ordinance accepting funds in the amount of $28,000.00 received from
the FY 2018 Homeland Security Grant Program (HSGP) and
authorizing the City Manager, or his designee, to execute contracts
and other documents related thereto
WHEREAS, the Emergency Preparedness Office has received notice of the
award of 2018 Homeland Security Grant funding from the Texas ; and,
WHEREAS, Office desires to receive these
funds to conduct Incident Management Team training to Wichita Falls and NORTEX
Regional responders.
WHEREAS, these funds were already appropriated through the adoption of the FY
2018 budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The 2018 Homeland Security Grant Fund in the amount of $28,000.00 is hereby
accepted and the City Manager, or his designee, is authorized to execute a
contract with the Texas office accepting the grant and any other
documents related thereto.
