1. CALL TO ORDER.
A. John Fritzsch called the meeting to order at 1:30 p.m.
2. MINUTES.
A. The minutes of August 23, 2018 were put before the Board for approval.
Colby Huffman made the motion to approve the minutes and Charlie
Zamastil seconded the motion.
B. Mintues where amended: Time was corrected to 1:30pm. Jim Heiman made
the motion to approve the minutes and John Fritzsch seconded the motion.
3. DEPARTMENTAL REPORT:
A. RECREATION: SCOTT MCGEE
• Hamilton Tennis Center has had 6 weeks in a row of tournaments
• Benefit Softball Tournament being held this weekend
• Punt Pass and Kick had over 40 kids to participate last weekend
• October 2, 2018 Parks and Recreation Outdoor Concert at Bud
Daniels Park.
• Travis meeting with CVB and Spectra on getting indoor soccer back
at MPEC.
• Texas Oklahoma Fair at MPEC, used stage and went well
• Recreation Office went to Plano TX on September 13 for training
• Horseshoe Tournament scheduled for August 2019
B. PARKS: SCOTT MCGEE
• No report, Terry Points unable to attend.
4. PARK IMPROVEMENT COMMITTEE:
Loop 11 parking lot finished.
Lake Wichita Sub Committee recruiting members for board
2 studies being done with MSU.
5. ADJOURNMENT.
A. Meeting was adjourned at 2:12 pm
