Resolution No. 105-2018
Resolution authorizing the purchase of a Commercial Front End
Loader through the BuyBoard Purchasing Cooperative from Bruckner
Truck Sales, Inc. in the amount of $149,807.00 and Texan Waste
Equipment, Inc. dba Heil of Texas in the amount of $153,400.00
WHEREAS, Texas Local Government Local Government Code §252.022 exempts
competitive bidding requirements; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls has passed a resolution
approving the participation in such cooperative agreements; and,
WHEREAS, THE City Council finds that Bruckner Truck Sales, Inc. is offering the
commercial front loader through the BuyBoard Purchasing Cooperative comprised of the
Mack TE64R cab and chassis from Bruckner Truck Sales, Inc. and the Heil Heavy Duty
Half-Pack 28 yd. Full Eject Commercial Front Loaderbody from Heil of Texas, and it is in
the best interest to purchase equipment in accordance with the Cooperative Purchasing
Programs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
City Staff is authorized to execute all documents necessary to purchase the
commercial front loader through the BuyBoard Purchasing Cooperative in the amount of
$303,207.00.
