Resolution
Annual Supply of Chemicals for Water and Wastewater Treatment.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
purchase of the annual supply of chemicals for water and wastewater treatment; and,
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on September 10, 2018; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to
and wastewater treatment operation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Authorization is granted to award bids for the purchase of bulk water and
wastewater treatment for each chemical as follows:
Liquid Chlorine to DPC Industries Company in the amount of $289,990.00.
Liquid Ferric Chloride to PVS Technologies, Inc. in the amount of $352,800.00.
Liquid Hydrochloric Acid 15% to Water Tech Inc. in the amount $13,900.00.
Scale Inhibitor / Anti-Scalant to Avista Technologies in the amount of
$9,114.05.
Liquid Sodium Chlorite 25% to Evoqua Water Technologies LLC in the amount
of $136,010.00.
