Ord 49-2018 Rezoning 4701 Wyoming 10/2/2018
Ordinance No. 49-2018
Ordinance rezoning approximately 5.63 acres of land located at
Lot 1, Block 110, Westmoreland Park and Adjacent Properties,
Wyoming Avenue Right-of-Way from Single Family-2 Residential
(SF-2) to Multi-Family Residential (MFR) to allow for
development of multiple duplexes on the same lot;and
amending the Land Use Plan to change the area from
Institutional and Low-Density Residential to High-Density
Residential.
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission considered the proposed
zoning change at its September 12, 2018 meeting, and voted to recommend approval of
this request; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed this request and has determined the
herein described Zoning and Land Use Plan amendments are in the public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
1. Lot 1, Block 110, Westmoreland Park and Adjacent Property (4701
Wyoming Avenue 5.22 acres) and Wyoming Avenue Right-of-Way (0.41 acres),as
depicted on the attached map incorporated in this ordinance as , is
hereby rezoned from Single Family-2 Residential (SF-2) to Multi-family Residential
(MFR).
2. The area on the Land Use Map, as depicted on the attached map
,
incorporated in this ordinance as is hereby amended to change the
area from Institutional and Low-Density Residential to High-Density Residential.
