Ord 48-2018 Rezoning 3737 Iowa Park Road 10/2/2018 Ordinance No. 48-2018 Ordinance rezoning approximately 19.57 acres of land located along Iowa Park Road \[Original Tract 108.77 acres; Abstract 254 (G.W. Scott Survey) and Abstract 40 (J.R. Cooke Survey)\] to be referred as 3737 Iowa Park Rd.;from Single Family-1 Residential (SF-1) to Heavy Industrial (HI) to allow for expansion of an existing manufacturing facility;and amending the Land Use Plan to change the area from Low-Density Residential to Light Industrial. WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission considered the proposed zoning change at its September 12, 2018 meeting, and voted to recommend approval of this request; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed this request and has determined the herein described Zoning and Land Use Plan amendments are in the public interest. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: 1. 19.57 acres of land located along Iowa Park Road \[Original Tract 108.77 acres; Abstract 254 (G.W. Scott Survey) and Abstract 40 (J.R. Cooke Survey)\] (will be known as: 3737 Iowa Park Road 19.57 acres), as depicted on the attached map incorporated in this ordinance as , is hereby rezoned from Single Family-1 Residential (SF-1) to Heavy Industrial (HI). 2.
