Resolution No. 95-2018
Resolution authorizing the City Manager to enter into a contract with
Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. for professional design services
for Lake Wichita Revitalization Projects in the amount not-to-exceed
$398,000
WHEREAS, the Lake Wichita Revitalization Committee and Friends of the
Reservoir have raised at least $398,000 for engineering and architectural services for
projects at Lake Wichita known as the Boardwalk/Pavilion, Kemp Street Boat Ramp
l Plaza; and,
WHEREAS, the City has solicited and evaluated proposals received from
professional engineering and design firms for this work; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff and the Lake Wichita Revitalization Committee are
recommending approval of a contract with Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc., for these
professional services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Kimley-Horn
and Associates, Inc. for professional design services for Lake Wichita Revitalization
Projects in the amount not-to-exceed $398,000.
