1. Call to Order
Dick Bundy called the meeting to order at 3:30 p.m.
2. Financial Report
Jim Dockery said the Board had an unreserved fund balance of $4.5 million. Sales tax
revenues total $2.593 million eight months into the year, putting the fund 5.86% ahead of this time
last year. If that pace continues, the fund will end year $212,000 above its budgeted amount of
$3.5 million.
3. Approval of Minutes (6/21/18)
Mr. Toogood moved for pproval subject to an amendment of the vote on page one being
changed to 4-0 Seconded by Darron Leiker, the motion carried 5-0.
4. Executive Session
Mr. Bundy adjourned the meeting into executive session at 3:36 p.m. pursuant to Texas
Government Code §551.087. He announced the meeting back into regular session at 4:30 p.m. The
subjects posted in the Notice of Meeting were deliberated, and no votes or further action was taken
on these items in executive session.
5. Discussion and possible approval of award of contract for design of SAFB Main Gate
Project to Benham Design, LLC
Mr. Leiker moved to authorize the 4A President to work with the City Attorney to negotiate
a contract for the design of the Sheppard Air Force Base Main Gate Project with Benham Design,
LLC not to exceed $250 000 Seconded by Reno Gustafson the motion carried 5-0.
6. Discussion and possible amendment of Guide IT performance agreement
Leo Lane moved to authorize the Chamber of Commerce to provide for the extension of
Guide IT's performance agreement for an additional two years Seconded by Mr. Toogood, the
motion carried 5-0.
Mayor Santellana read a proclamation to Mr. Bundy, who had served on the WFEDC since
July 18, 2006, and as its president since August 20, 2014. This was Mr. Bundy's last meeting as a
member of the WFEDC.
7. Adjourn
The meeting adjourned at 4:35 p.m.
