Ordinance Appropriating $105,259 To The General Fund For Capital
Improvements And Cart Lease Payments For The Champion's Golf
Course At Weeks Park
WHEREAS, the City has adopted a budget for the 2011 -12 fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, after the approval of the 2011 -12 budget, it has come to the City's
attention of the need to increase the budget for the Champion's Golf Course at Weeks
Park to make capital improvements and a balloon payment for the cart lease; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend the budget to allow for certain
capital improvements to be made to the golf course and to allow for purchase of the
existing golf cart fleet by making a final balloon payment on the cart lease.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The 2011 -12 budget is hereby amended by making appropriations to the General
Fund in the amount of $105,259 for Capital Improvements and Cart Lease Payments
for the Champion's Golf Course at Weeks Park.
