Resolution Awarding Bids For The City’s Estimated Annual
Requirement Of Class A, Curb & Gutter, Class C-C, And Flowable Fill
To Pitts Ready Mix In The Amount Of $116,150.00 And For Class S
Ready Mix Concrete To OK Concrete In The Amount Of $186,125.00
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the City’s
estimated annual requirement of ready mix concrete and flowable fill, and bids were
received and publicly opened on January 24, 2012; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds the lowest responsible bid for the purchase of
Class A, Curb & Gutter, Class C-C, and Flowable Fill was Pitts Ready Mix in the amount
of $116,150.00, and for the purchase of Class S ready mix concrete was OK Concrete
in the amount of $186,125.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Authorization is granted to award the bid for the City’s estimated annual
requirement of Class A, Curb & Gutter, Class C-C and Flowable Fill to Pitts Ready Mix
Bid Tabulation,
in the amount of $116,150.00 in accordance with the attached and to
OK Concrete for Class S ready mix concrete in the amount of $186,125.00 in
Bid Tabulation
accordance with the attached.
