Resolution Awarding the Bid For The City's Estimated Annual
Requirement for Class A, Curb & Gutter, and Class C-C Ready Mix
Concrete And Flowable Fill To Pitts Ready Mix In The Amount Of
$116,150.00 And for Class S Ready Mix Concrete To OK Concrete In
The Amount Of $186,125.00
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised for bids for the City's estimated
annual requirement of ready mix concrete and flowable fill;
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on February 3, 2011; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase ready-mix concrete and
flowable fill for use by various City departments during the next twelve-month period, as
described in the attached Bid Tabulation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bid for the City's estimated annual requirements for Class A, Curb & Gutter,
and Class C-C ready mix concrete and Flowable Fill is awarded to Pitts Ready Mix in a
total estimated amount of $116,150.00 and for Class S ready mix concrete are awarded
to OK Concrete in the estimated amount of $186,125.00, and City Staff are authorized
to execute all documents necessary to purchase said items as described in the attached
Bid Tabulation.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 15 day of February, 2011.
