Resolution Awarding Bid For The Purchase And Installation Of Storm
Windows At The Memorial Auditorium To Chavez Contracting In An
Estimated Amount Of $96,556.00
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
purchase and installation of storm windows at the Memorial Auditorium;
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on February 4, 2011; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to install energy efficient windows at the
Memorial Auditorium.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bid for the purchase and installation of storm windows at the Memorial
Auditorium is awarded to Chavez Contracting in the estimated amount of $96,556.00,
and the City Manager is authorized to execute a contract with said entity for said
project.
