RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AWARDING A PROPOSAL TO CIVICPLUS FOR
WEBSITE CONTENT MANAGEMENT SERVICES; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City wishes to improve the design and functionality of the City's
website; and
WHEREAS, proposals from website content management firms have been
received and evaluated by a committee of staff; and
WHEREAS, this committee recommends awarding a proposal to CivicPlus, of
Manhatten, Kansas for these services in the amount of $35,300; and
WHEREAS, these services were not included in the 2005-06 budget; and
WHEREAS, there is sufficient savings that materialized through the bid process
of an aerial mapping project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. A proposal for website design and content management services is
hereby awarded to CivicPlus, of Manhatten, Kansas in the amount of $35,300.
SECTION 2. Funding for this project in the amount of $35,300 be made
available from areas in the budget that experienced savings through the bid process of
the aerial mapping project.
SECTION 3. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
