RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AWARDING A PROPOSAL TO COMCATE
INCORPORATED FOR AN AUTOMATED CITIZEN'S REQUEST
MANAGEMENT SYSTEM; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN
TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City desires to purchase a Citizen Request Management
System; and
WHEREAS, a staff committee has reviewed proposals from various vendors who
provide Citizen Request Management Systems; and
WHEREAS, the committee recommends awarding a proposal to Comcate
Incorporated, of San Francisco, California in the amount of $16,400, and
WHEREAS, these services were not included in the 2005-06 budget, and
WHEREAS, there is sufficient savings that materialized through the bid process
of an aerial mapping project to finance these services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. A proposal for a Citizen Request Management System and related
services is hereby awarded to Comcate Incorporated, of San Francisco, California in
the amount of $16,400.
SECTION 2. Funding for this project in the amount of $16,400 be made
available from areas in the budget that experienced savings through the bid process of
the aerial mapping project.
SECTION 3. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
