RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF OFFICE,
EXAMINE ROOM AND WAITING ROOM FURNITURE FOR THE
HEALTH DEPARTMENT EXPANSION PROJECT FROM HUDSON
BLUEPRINT, INC., THROUGH THE GENERAL SERVICES
ADMINISTRATION FEDERAL SUPPLY CONTRACT IN THE AMOUNT
OF $83,740.00; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT
WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, Local Government Code Subchapter G, Section 271.103 allows a
local government to purchase goods and services available under Federal supply
schedules of the United States General Services Administration (GSA) and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase office, examine room and
waiting room furniture for the Health Department Expansion Project, and
WHEREAS, it is in the City's best interest to purchase through the General
Services Administration Federal Supply Contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Authorization is granted to purchase office, examine room and
waiting room furniture for the Health Department Expansion Project from Hudson
Blueprint, Inc., in the amount of $83,740.00.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resotution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
