RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AWARDING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
PROPOSAL TO THE WATERS CONSULTING GROUP, INC. TO
COMPLETE A POSITION CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION
STUDY AND MAKING APPROPRIATIONS IN VARIOUS FUNDS TO
FINANCE THIS STUDY; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN
TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, City Staff has completed a selection process for position
classification and compensation services; and
WHEREAS, Waters Consulting Group, Inc. offered the scope of services that
matched the city's needs, and
WHEREAS, the scope of services offered by Waters Consulting Group totals
$104,425.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The Professional Services Proposal with Waters Consulting Group,
with a cost of $104,425 is hereby approved.
SECTION 2 . Funds in the amount of $76,188 and $7,999 are hereby
appropriated in the General Fund and Sanitation Fund, respectively. The remaining
funds will be made available from existing appropriations in the Airport Funds, Transit
Fund, Print Shop Fund and Water and Sewer Fund.
SECTION 3. It is hereby hereby officially found and determined that the meeting
at which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
