RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF TWO (2) 3 /-TON
PICKUPS FROM FOUR STAR AUTO RANCH IN THE AMOUNT OF
$30,253.50. FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT
WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
purchase of two (2) 3 /-ton pickups; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on February 17, 2006; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase two (2) 3 /-ton pickups for the
City's vehicle fleet.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Authorization is granted to award the bid for the purchase of finro (2)
3 /-ton pickups to the low bidder Four Stars Auto Ranch in the amount of $30,253.50.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
