RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) 35,000
GVW CAB & CHASSIS FROM WICHITA FALLS FREIGHTLINER, IN
THE AMOUNT OF $53,457.00. FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT
THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS
OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
purchase of one 35,000 cab & chassis; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on April 21,2006; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase one (1) 35,000 GVW cab &
and chassis for a fuel delivery truck.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Authorization is granted to award the bid for the purchase of one (1)
35,000 GVW cab & chassis to Wichita Falls Freightliner, in the amount of $53,547.00.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
