RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE 13TH AMENDMENT TO THE
WATER PURCHASE CONTRACT WITH THE CITY OF LAKESIDE CITY,
TEXAS; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH
THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Water Purchase Contract between the City of Wichita Falls and
the City of Lakeside City has been previously approved; and
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls and the City of Lakeside City wish to amend
the existing Water Purchase Contract by increasing the maximum amount of water
delivered to 400,000 gallons per day; and
WHEREAS, the Council examined the proposed amendment to the Water
Purchase Contract befinreen the City and the City of Lakeside City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 . The 13th Amendment of the Water Purchase Contract befinreen the
City of Wichita Falls and the City of Lakeside City increasing the maximum amount of
water delivered to 400,000 gallons per day is hereby approved, and the City Manager is
authorized to execute the same for the City of Wichita Falls.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
