RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, TO AWARD BID AND CONTRACT FOR THE WICHITA
FALLS BUSINESS PARK LANDSCAPE AND IRRIGATION PROJECT
CWF06-732-11 AND APPROVAL OF CHANGE ORDER NO. 1; FINDING
AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for Wichita Falls
Business Park Landscape and Irritation Project, and
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest, responsible bidder is Lanco TurF &
Seeding, who made a unit price bid with an estimated total of $839,271.00; and
WHEREAS, Lanco Turf & Seeding has proposed a deductive Change Order of
$100,090.00 to the proposed project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Said lump sum bid of Lanco Turf & Seeding and Change Order No.
1 giving a contract amount of $739,181.00, is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is
authorized to execute a contract for the City with said Contractor for the construction of
such project.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
