RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, ADOPTING THE PROPOSED FIVE-YEAR CONSOLIDATED PLAN
AND THE PROPOSED USE OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK
GRANT (CDBG) AND HOME PROGRAM FUNDS; TO INCLUDE ANY AND ALL
REVISIONS AS APPROVED BY HUD; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT
THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO
THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls administers the Community Development
Block Grant and the HOME Investment Partnership Programs through the
Neighborhood Resources Division of the Community Development Department; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has had two Public Hearings to receive citizen input
and the City Manager and staff have used this input to develop suggested activities;
and
WHEREAS, during a Public Hearing, the City Council has reviewed the
recommended Consolidated Plan and approves the projects and activities in the Action
Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Council of Wichita Falls, Texas, hereby adopts the
Consolidated Plan for the period October 1, 2005 to September 30, 2009.
