RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) 35,000
GVW SEWER JETTER TRUCK FROM WICHITA FALLS
FREIGHTLINER, IN THE AMOUNT OF $141,023.00. FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
purchase of one 35,000 GVW Sewer Jetter Truck; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on May 17, 2006; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase one (1) 35,000 GVW sewer
jetter truck for the City fleet.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Authorization is granted to award the bid for the purchase of one (1)
35,000 GVW sewer jetter truck to Wichita Falls Freightliner, in the amount of
$141,023.00.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
