RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A 2,500 GALLON
FUEL DELIVERY TANK TO YOUNG'S TANK, INC., IN THE AMOUNT OF
$68,150.00. FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT
WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
purchase of a 2,500 gallon fuel delivery tank, and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on May 26, 2006; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase a 2,500 gallon fuel delivery
tank for the City fleet.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Authorization is granted to award the bid for the purchase and
installation of a 2,500 gallon fuel delivery tank to Young's Tank, Inc., in the amount of
$68,150.00.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
