RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF FIVE (5) VIDEO
DETECTION SYSTEMS THROUGH TEXAS BUILDING AND
PROCUREMENT COMMISSION PURCHASING COOPERATIVE, FROM
TEXAS HIGHWAY PRODUCTS IN THE AMOUNT OF $31,970.00;
FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW. �
WHEREAS, Sections 271.081-271.083 Local Government Code, V. T. C. A.,
Section 2155.202 and 2175.001 of the Texas Government Code, Title 10, Subtitle D,
provide the legal authority for local governments to participate in Texas Building and
Procurement Commission Purchasing Cooperative; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls has passed a resolution
approving the participation in such cooperative agreements; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase five (5) Video Detection
Systems; and
WHEREAS, it is in the City's best interest to purchase through the Texas Building
and Procurement Commission Purchasing Cooperative,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Authorization is granted to purchase five (5) Video Detection
Systems from Texas Highway Products, in the amount of $31,970.00.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
