Resolution authorizing the City Manager to enter into an agreement
with Secord & Lebow Architects, LLP for Design Services related to
the Wichita Falls Public Transportation Repair and Maintenance
Facility
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has applied for a Texas Department of
Transportation Section 5304 grant to assist with design services for the development of
a Bus Repair and Maintenance facility; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council finds the City properly advertised for Design
Services for the Bus Maintenance Repair Facility project and complied with all
applicable provisions under the Texas Government Code; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council and City Manager have determined that space
needs assessments, land acquisition, and conceptual renderings are needed to begin
the design process; and,
WHEREAS, formal design of the Bus Maintenance Repair facility will not begin
until a Texas Department of Transportation Section 5304 grant is formally received for
this project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is authorized to execute an agreement, in a form approved by
the City Attorney, with Secord & Lebow Architects, LLP for design services for the
construction of the Bus Maintenance Repair Facility project.

of Wichita Falls, Per our conversations, we will Initially provide the (City with Programming and Concept
Development to establish the furictional layout and sate area needs_ This will be accomplished for a not -
to -exceed fee of $15,000.00 Lased can our standard hourly rates below.
Our hourly rues are as follows for the Initial services:
Sr. Partner/ Archltert $10,00 per hcmr
Jr, Partner f Architect 130.00 per hour
Intern f CADD 85,00 per hour
Interior Deftner 70.00 per hour
Clerical 4rS_00 per hour
This pFhase of developnhtnt will be tb assist the City in th-elr grant praeesss. I3nce the grant is dhtained, we
will initiate an Abbrev1vted Standard F6rrn of Agreearent between Owner and Arebiteet (AM 9101-2{}{'J171
as our standard contract. As the project proceeds, this fee will be credited toward the AE fee for complete
design se rvices.
