Resolution awarding bid and contract for the Wastewater
Collections Office and Equipment Storage Facility to Robert Eason
dba Santa Rosa Construction Co. in the amount of $934,000.00
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for the Wastewater
Collections Office and Equipment Storage Facility; and,
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest responsible bidder is Santa Rosa
Construction Co., who made a unit price bid with an estimated total of $934,000.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The unit price bid for the Wastewater Collections Office and Equipment Storage
Facility is awarded to Robert Eason dba Santa Rosa Construction Co., in an estimated
total amount of $934,000.00, and the City Manager is authorized to execute a contract
for the City with said Contractor for the construction of such project.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 1st day of May, 2018.

Dear Mr_ Schreiber
Attached is the Proposal Tab Results for the Waste Water Collection Office and Equipment Storage
Facility for the City of Wichita Falls_ The proposal amounts and construction times listed by the five
proposals were very competitive due to the current local bidding climate. All proposal costs listed in the
tab sheet are below SLVs last opinion of construction costs_
Having reviewed all information contained in the praposals, our recommendation would be to accept
the proposal of Santa Rosa Construction based on the point system listed in the project manual_ Of the
five firms who provided proposals, Santa Rosa Construction is the smallest but should be capable of
completing a project of this size and scope_ We would recommend acceptance of their base proposal
amount of $938,000 and not accept Deductive Alternate No_ 1 for $20,800 (deletion of one bay)_
