RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AMENDMENTS TO THE WICHITA
FALLS 4B SALES TAX CORPORATION 2005-2006 BUDGET; FINDING
AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the 4B Sales Tax Board met on July 20, 2006 to consider a request
from River Bend Nature Works for continued funding of their Nature Center; and
WHEREAS, the 4B Sales Tax Board agreed to provide $240,000 as a matching
contribution towards construction expenses; and
WHEREAS, The 4B Sales Tax Corporation Board of Directors also considered a
city staff request to contract with RCC Consultants for assistance in procuring and
installing Mobile Data Terminals; and
WHEREAS, The 4B Board approved the request for funding for RCC
Consultants in the amount of $194,750.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The 2005-2006 Budget of the Wichita Falls 4B Sales Tax
Corporation is hereby amended in the amount of $240,000 for continued assistance to
the River Bend Nature Works Nature Center.
SECTION 2. The 2005-2006 Budget of the Wichita Falls 4B Sales Tax
Corporation is hereby amended in the amount of $194,750 to fund a Professional
Services Agreement with RCC Consultants for procurement and installation assistance
with Mobile Data Terminals.
SECTION 3. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
