RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE 2005-2006
BUDGET OF THE 4B SALES TAX BOARD IN THE AMOUNT OF
$250,000 FOR A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH
GOLFSCAPES, INC.; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN
TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, The 4B Sales Tax Board has allocated $4,300,000 towards a
renovation at Weeks Park Golf Course; and
WHEREAS, The City of Wichita Falls wishes to retain the services of GolfScapes
to design and inspect a golf course renovation; and
WHEREAS, It is necessary to amend the 2005-2006 Budget of the 4B Sales Tax
Board to pay for such services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The 2005-2006 Budget of the 4B Sales Tax Board is hereby
amended in the amount of $250,000 to pay for a Professional Services Agreement with
GolfScapes.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
