RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO IMPLEMENT
THE POSITION CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION
RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE WATERS CONSULTING GROUP,
INCORPORATED.; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING
AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, on February 21, 2006, the City awarded a proposal to Waters
Consulting Group, Incorporated to conduct a Position Classification and Compensation
Study; and
WHEREAS, the results of that study were presented to the City Council on
August 15, 2006 during the budget workshops; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to implement the recommendations
presented by the Waters Consulting Group.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to implement the
recommendations of the Position Classification and Compensation Study as presented
by the Waters Consulting Group.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
