RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AWARD OF BID FOR A ZETA
POTENTIAL ANALYZER TO BROOKHAVEN INSTRUMENTS IN THE
AMOUNT OF $28,238.00; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN
TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
purchase of a zeta potential analyzer; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on August 18, 2006; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase a zeta potential analyzer for the
City's Water Purification Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Authorization is granted to award the bid for the purchase of a zeta
potential analyzer to Brookhaven Instruments in the amount of $28,238.00.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
