RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, TO APPROVE CHANGE ORDER NO. 33 TO THE
JASPER WATER TREATMENT PLANT REHABILITATION AND
IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT, CWF04-544-21 IN THE AMOUNT OF
$339,086.41 AND 164 ADDITIONAL CALENDAR DAYS; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price contract with Eagle
Contracting, LP, with the estimated total cost of $18,840,000.00; and
WHEREAS, Change Orders No. 1 through 32 added $590,068.64 to the contract
for a revised cost of $19,430,068.64 and with a time construction time of 886 days; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 33 would add $386,997.85 to the contract for a
revised cost of $19,817,066.49 and add an additional 164 calendar days; and
WHEREAS, the City staff has reviewed all aspects of this Change Order and
recommends its approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Change Order No. 33 for the Jasper Water Treatment Plant
Rehabilitation and Improvements Project, CWF04-544-21 is hereby approved and the
City Manager is authorized to execute Change Order No. 33.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
