RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, TO ACCEPT THE NEW ADDITION FOR THE WICHITA
FALLS — WICHITA COUNTY HEALTH DISTRICT PROJECT, CWF05-
204-35 AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO SANTA ROSA
CONSTRUCTION COMPANY; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN
TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a lump sum price contract with
Santa Rosa Construction Company with the estimated total cost of $1,712,750.00; and
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of $1,694,417.95 of
which $1,609,697.06 has been previously paid to the contractor, leaving an amount due
of $84,720.89; and
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The New Addition to the Wichita Falls — Wichita County Health
District Project, CWF05-204-35 is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized
to make final payment to the contractor.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
