RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, SELECTING THE SOFTBALL COMPLEX AS THE
LOCATION OF THE SKATE PARK FACILITY; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, a Skate Park has been approved in the 5 year Capital Improvement
Program; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable to locate the Skate Park in an appropriate location;
and
WHEREAS, the Softball Complex off Maurine Street is the most desirable
location of the five park sites considered.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The Softball Complex is hereby determined to be the site of the
Skate Park facility.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
