RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AWARD OF BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF THE
CITY'S ESTIMATED ANNUAL REQUIREMENT OF FUEL PRODUCTS FROM
BMH OIL COMPANY IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,954,000. FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS
PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for it's
estimated annual requirement of unleaded gasoline and diesel fuel; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on October 5, 2006; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase fuel for the City's fleet.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Authorization be granted to award bid for the purchase of the City's
estimated annual requirement of fuel products to BMH Oil Company in the amount of
$1,954,000.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
