RESOLUTiON OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO
A CONTRACT WITH THE EAST LYNWOOD RESIDENT'S
ORGANIZATION TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR THREE
NEIGHBORHOOD CENTERS; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN
TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City has received a request from the East Lynwood Resident's
Organization for funding in the amount of $20,000 to pay for operating costs of three
neighborhood centers; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to fund this organization in the amount of
$� nnn nn for the 2006-07 fiscal year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement
with the East Lynwood Resident's organization with a maximum compensation of
$ � 2, o 0 0. o o for the 2006-07 fiscal year.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
