RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AWARD OF BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF A MOBILE
CASCADE AIR SYSTEM, TO HOYT BREATHING AIR PRODUCTS IN THE
AMOUNT OF $48,887.00. FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING
AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
purchase of a mobile cascade air system, and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on November 21, 2006; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase a mobile cascade air system,
and
WHEREAS, Homeland Security Funds are available for this purchase.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Authorization is granted to award bid for the purchase of a mobile
cascade air system to Hoyt Breathing Air Products in the amount of $48,887.00.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
