RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AWARDING BID FOR THE INSTALLATION OF A
BYPASS LINE FOR THE CYPRESS MEMBRANE FACILITY; FINDING
AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls Public Works Department has found it
necessary for a bypass line to be constructed at the Cypress Membrane Facility; and
WHEREAS, the work must be completed in a timely manner; and
WHEREAS, staff has received a cost proposal from Bowles Construction for
$39,300.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Said lump sum bid of Bowles Construction, with an estimated total
of $39,300.00 is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to notify the
Contractor to proceed with the construction.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
