ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING A FRANCHISE FOR SPECIAL SERVICE
VEHICLES TO JODY WADE, PREZO, INC. DBA PRESIDENTIAL
TRANSPORTATION; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO
THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City has received an application from Jody Wade, Prezo, Inc.
DBA Presidential Transportation for a special service franchise for two limousines, two
handicap vans, two shuttle vans/charter service, and two buses/local charter for social
purposes for transportation within the city limits of Wichita Falls; and
WHEREAS, the application submitted meets the requirements as set forth in
Chapter 110 of the Code of Ordinances regulating Vehicles for Hire-Limousine Service;
and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held to receive comments regarding the
granting of such franchise.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Jody Wade, Prezo, Inc. DBA Presidential Transportation be
authorized a franchise for special service vehicles.
SECTION 2. A total of eight (8) permits are authorized for said franchise, two
limousines, two handicap vans, two shuttle vans and two buses/ local charter for social
purposes for transportation within the city limits of Wichita Falls as provided for in
Chapter 110 of the Code of Ordinances.
SECTION 3. This franchise shall expire on January 3, 2011.
SECTION 4. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
