Ord 03-2006 1/3/2006 ,. � ORDINANCE NO. 3 ~�C�D ORDINANCE REZONING 600 FLOOD STREET FROM SINGLE FAMILY- 2 TO MULTIFAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONING AND AMENDING THE LAND USE PLAN; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW. WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission considered the proposed rezoning at their December 14, 2005 meeting, and recommended approval of this request; and WHEREAS, City Council has reviewed this application and has determined that the herein described zoning change is in the public interest. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: SECTION 1. The Land Use Plan designation for 600 Flood Street, the west 530 feet of Block 10, Homewood Heights, being 6.2 acres, as shown on the attached map, incorporated in this ordinance as Attachment "A," is hereby changed to "High Density Residential." SECTION 2. Said property being the same as described in Section 1 of this ordinance, is hereby rezoned to Multifamily Residential zoning. SECTION 3. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
