Ord 04-2006 1/3/2006 ORDINANCE NO. �I - a OL�I ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 88-99, THE GENERAL COMMERCIAL CONDITIONED DISTRICT REGULATIONS FOR 2206 BROOK, TO ADD MINI-STORAGE UNITS AS A PERMITTED USE AND AMENDING THE LAND USE PLAN; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW. WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission considered the proposed zoning district text amendment at their December 14, 2005 meeting, and recommended approval of this request; and WHEREAS, City Council has reviewed this application and has determined that the herein described zoning text change is in the public interest. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: SECTION 1. The Land Use Plan designation of 2206 Brook, being 0.859 acres out of Abstract 281, as shown on the attached map, incorporated in this ordinance as Attachment "A," is hereby changed to "Commercial." SECTION 2 Ordinance 88-99, General Commercial Conditioned zoning regulations for 2206 Brook, approved September 7, 1999, regulating the same property as described in Section 1 of the ordinance, is hereby amended to add "mini-ware houses" as a permitted use. SECTION 3. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
