ORDINANCE MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FROM SANITATION
EQUITY FUND FOR PURPOSES OF FUNDING CAPITAL
REPLACEMENT EQUIPMENT NEEDS FOR THE 2005/2006 BUDGET
YEAR; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH
THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Council desires to use reserve funds in the Sanitation Fund for
the purchase of six refuse collection truck cab and chassis and service bodies; and
WHEREAS, these six collection units were not included in the 2005/2006 budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. An appropriation in the amount of $1,063,440 from Sanitation
reserve funds is hereby approved for the purchase of six additional refuse collection
units. These funds are appropriated to capital account 530-8175-77320.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
