ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FROM FUND BALANCE
IN THE GENERAL FUND FOR PURPOSES OF REPLACING FIRE
ENGINE #1; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT
WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Council desires to use funds from balances in the General Fund
for the purchase of a replacement fire engine; and
WHEREAS, a portion of the General Fund must be appropriated by Council so
the funds can be used for the cited reason; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated from the General Fund the amount of
$315,021.00 to purchase a fire engine. These amounts are appropriated from capital
account 100-1360-80070.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
