ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, CHANGING THE DATE OF THE REGULARLY
SCHEDULED COUNCIL MEETING ON MAY 16, 2006, TO MAY 23,
2006; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT
WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls will meet on May 23,
2006, to canvass the results of the May 13 election; and,
WHEREAS, it is efficient and proper to move the meeting regularly scheduled for
May 16 to May 23.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The regularly scheduled City Council meeting on May 16, 2006, is
hereby changed to May 23, 2006.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
